What we collect
When you use our contact form or write to us by email, we keep your name, business name, email address, your message, where you heard about us and the network (IP) address it came from, so we can reply and help prevent abuse.
When you create an account we keep your name, your email address and your password, which is stored scrambled so nobody can read it. We also keep what you tell us about your business: its name, industry, team size, country, phone number, website (if you give one) and how you heard about us.
For security we record failed sign in attempts with the email used and the network address they came from. These records are removed after a day.
The information you store in SmartBizi X
Your contacts, deals, clients, documents, projects, procedures, finances and candidates belong to you. Each business has its own private workspace, and one business cannot see another's information. We use this information only to run the service for you and to help when you ask us to.
How we use what we collect
We use your details to run your account, to reply to you, to send the emails the product is built to send (such as a welcome message, reminders and invitations you set up), and to improve the product. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and your browser
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. It is only used for that. The live chat on our public website is provided by tawk.to, which sets its own cookies to run the chat and receives what you type into it, under its own privacy policy. When you apply for a job on our Careers page, your name, email, phone, current role and message are passed to the business that posted the job and to nobody else. Product pages can show videos from YouTube or Vimeo. A video is loaded only after you press play, and then the provider may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Your choice of light or dark appearance, and a copy of the country list used on the sign up page, are saved in your own browser and are never sent to us.
Who else sees it
Emails are delivered through Resend, an email service that processes the message on our behalf. The sign up page loads the list of countries from the public REST Countries service, and some fonts, charts and scripts load from public content networks, so those providers can see that your browser asked for them. We share information with no one else unless the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, export or delete your details and your workspace. Write to info@smartbizi.com or use the contact page.
This page is a plain language summary of what the software does today. Please have it reviewed for your country and your business before you rely on it.
